Wild Goose
Located on the north shore of Tahoe, the Wild Goose provides a fine dining experience with stunning lake views. During summer, their tastefully decorated outdoor patio is arguably Lake Tahoe's finest, with a gorgeous lake view and heat lamps to keep you warm after sunset. The Goose is an elegant place with windows overlooking the water, a full bar and a nice selection of fine wines. The menu is contemporary and the ingredients are fresh. Our pick: Caramelized Sea Scallops. As of June 1 06, Wild Goose is a private restaurant open only to East West's Tahoe Mountain Resorts club.

Spindleshanks
Tahoe Vista's Spindleshanks is a favorite dinner destination for North Shore locals. They offer fine American cuisine such as steaks, fish and pasta and an excellent wine list. The restaurant's atmosphere is comfortable, with a knotty pine decor and a pleasant outdoor patio during summer. Old Range Steakhouse
The Old Range is known for having the best steak around. If you do not know what aged beef means, you are not alone. After a visit to the Old Range, you will understand that whatever it means, it sure tastes good! They serve huge cuts of steak - with choices of NY, Filet, Porterhouse, etc. with potatoes and a la carte veggies and side dishes. The atmosphere is comfortable, with a mountain lodge theme and red and white checkered tablecloths. Choose a deliciouse red wine right from their rack (you can view the labels before you choose) and get ready for some apre ski or hike satisfaction, 'cause these steaks are incredible! The restaurant is open for dinner, just a short drive down HW 28 from Kings Beach.
