Beach Volleyball in Tahoe

Volleyball Kings Beach
Area people playing beach volleyball
If you are looking for a fun and free activity, pay a visit to one of Lake Tahoe's many beach volleyball courts. When it's warm, these courts are happening, so put together teams and head to one. There's often a game going on you may be able to jump into if you do not have enough people for a team. Tahoe's scenic, sandy beaches are a great place to play; the weather is almost always nice, and during spring, you can often play after a morning of skiing.

Kings Beach
A large stretch of sandy beach on the north shore with good views, picnic tables, playgrounds, BBQs, a pier, a boat launch, and nearby restaurants. The beach is located in the middle of town, with easy access from the paid parking lot. There is also jet ski, kayak and paddleboat rental shop near the pier that also offers parasailing. Several sandy beach-volleyball courts are usually setup, one is behind Jason's restaurant and one is behind Steamers.

Zephyr Cove
Vising this long, sandy beach is like being on spring break. With a bar that serves you on the beach, party boats, sand volleyball and rentals of jet skis, kayaks, and boats. This beach is all about South Lake style fun.

North Tahoe Beach Volleyball Courts
This park has several public beach volleyball courts right near the lake. Well-designed sandy courts with a hose to cool off the sand and nets to keep the ball nearby. There are also nearby picnic tables, restrooms, and BBQ grills. This is a popular place for locals and visitors to play.
