River Ranch Restaurant & Lodge
Technically, the River Ranch is probably closer to Alpine Meadows than Tahoe City, but it's a popular spot for people who want to take the 3 or 4 mile drive or raft trip to sit by the river and enjoy lunch in the sun. The River Ranch is at the base of the Alpine Meadows entrance on 89, serving cocktails and delicious entrees including Elk Loin and Venison in a warm, comfortable room. During summer, they often have live entertainment outside on their deck.
