Plumpjack Cafe
On offshoot of the San Francisco restaurant with the same name, Plumpjack Cafe, to put it bluntly, rules. Contempory atmosphere with modern American cuisine. The restaurant is rather proper, while the bar area is more casual, offering seating by a fire. Open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Reservations recommended. Plumpjack sits in a cozy, natural area at the base of Squaw Valley. Our pick: A burger by the fire for apres-ski lunch.
