Moody's Bistro

Located in the historic Truckee Hotel, Moody's is a cool place, alive with nightly jazz and a happening atmosphere. The bar is designed in the fashion of a Speakeasy from the early days, with big comfortable booths to enjoy lunch in. Mark Estee, Executive Chef, has done a fantastic job creating a menu with an interesting selection of game meats and fresh, seasonal entrees that change frequently. Nightly live music performances by jazz trios and local artists keep the place so hip you might think it belongs in San Francisco. Superstar Paul McCartney has even visited a few times and jumped in for a song on the piano.
