Gar woods is located next to the Sierra Boat Company and the public beach in Carnelian Bay. They are boat friendly, with a long pier and boat valet parking via Zodiac. A popular destination for the famous wooden boats on Lake Tahoe, Gar Woods is also home to the famous 'Wet Woodie' - a fruity frozen cocktail that is full of rum. On Wednesday nights in summer, discount Wet Woodies help pack the place. Their outdoor patio is a great place to enjoy a lakeview snack and a cocktail.
